Look who's 1

Though I'm glad we don't have to do it again for a really long time, we had a wonderful 1st birthday party for Rylee. We rented out the cultural hall at the church and decorated it with pink and white of course. All the kids played games and smashed a pinata. Rylee had her own cake that she got to dig into all by herself.
My baby is now a toddler, where did the time go? I can't believe how much she has grown in just this little amount of time, okay i'm going to say it: it seems just yesterday they were putting her in my arms at the hospital. She has brought so much craziness and joy into our lives, i don't think Jared and i could have asked for a better blessing if our lives depended on it. It's been a fun ride and it's only just begun.

Rylee's first snow

It was beautiful weather the entire time we spent in Utah, but I wanted Rylee to experience her first snow while we were there. We lucked out-the last two days we were there a huge snow storm came in and she was able to touch and taste her first snow. At first she wasn't sure about it, but by the end, i couldn't get her to go inside!

Finally a Family!!!!

So we finally made it back to Florida after a two and half month long visit to Utah. Rylee and I had an amazing time, but discovered we really needed one thing in our lives that we were missing terribly. That thing was Jared. Being the wonderful husband and dad he is, he didn't want to miss Rylee's first birthday, so he flew in the night before and was able to be at the party we had with all of our family there. After that, he selflessly drove three days home with the dogs while Rylee and I flew home in just a few hours.
Being home is nice, we are enjoying the warm weather and are especially enjoying having a husband and a dad around!! Though it is nice having all our own things, we do miss our family already and will cherish the memories we made there forever. Thankyou so much to all of those who took such good care of us while we were there. love to all!!!

Well Brittany has been out in Utah for the past month and I've been stuck here in Florida working. Since I couldn't take being away any longer I planned a suprise trip to Utah at the end of October. While I was there Britt and I took a drive up onto the Ogden divide and had to take these pictures of the biggest brightest full moon i've ever seen!

As you can see, the animal in me took over.

This is brittanys impression of the Statue of Liberty!

This is the North Ogden side of the divide, I guess this is what you're supposed to do when you pull of and park on the side.

Hey everyone!

We thought we'd try something new and start our own blog page. Let us know if you like it or not or what we can do to improve it. This is our happy little family at Tabby's wedding in September.
