Halloween Fun!

The night did get better, but Rylee started out as an "Angry Bee". I think she was upset about not gettting any candy right then and there. Other than this moment, Halloween was great fun! We went to a Trunk-or-Treat in our church parking lot and Rylee was so excited to see all of the funny costumes. After the Trunk-or-Treat we went over to Crestwood Retirement Home and banked about 50 candy stops in the span of 10 minutes- great for tired pregnant feet and hungry dads ready to go home. All in all, I think so far Halloween is one of Rylee's favorite holidays. She was enthralled with all things scary and absoloutely loved Frankenstein.
Isn't Rylee's cousin Ryker sweet?

Are you sitting down?!

Hopefully you are sitting down because the Adam's family is finally updating their blog!!!! After a VERY long hiatus, I finally decided to sit down and just do it. Sooo, from the last posting, a lot has happened as you may have guessed. Our family decided in June to move from Florida(where we had been living for 31/2 years) back to Utah. It took us about a month to get settled, but finally it felt like home. That's when Jared decided to go back to Florida for an extremely long job. He was gone for about 2 months and YES it was extremely hard to be without a husband, pregnant, and chasing around a very active toddler. Oh yeah, another update-I am now nine months pregnant with a little boy if you didn't know. I am due at the end of this month- Hallelujah!
Anyway, we made it without a husband and daddy with the support of all of our family and friends, and are now coasting along getting ready for baby #2. Since we have been absent from our blog for so long and have been living a lot of life in the last five months, I posted a quick slide show below to show a little of what we have been up to. I know it's not detailed, but I promise to be a much better blogger in the future! We are glad to be back!

Day at the Beach

Rylee loves the beach-especially with her very best friend, Logan. She had such a good time playing with her sand toys and running in the water. It was even fun for me-for a little while. That is until Rylee discovered that this was a great place to find things to put in her mouth. For the rest of the time I spent my day at the beach chasing her around and taking various things out of her mouth. These things consisted of sea shells, sea weed, sand-of course, and her favorite.... cigarette butts! Yum!

Cool Rylee!

Ready to go home

Disney on Ice

A few weeks ago we went to "Pretty Princess" Disney on Ice with our friends and their little boy Logan (whom Rylee is completely enamored by). We had such a good time but more importantly, Rylee did too. We were kind of worried about it, but she loved it and we loved just watching her. This is the guys being tough and standing in front of a Harley motorcycle in the midst of a billion little girls dressed in princess outfits.
This is Rylee when we first got there-not quite sure what to think of the skating figures.

Then she really started screaming and clapping when the 7 dwarfs came on.

Happy Easter!!

I'm finally getting around to posting the very few pics we took on Easter. The day was cloudy and rainy so we weren't able to go outside and take any pictures next to pretty flowers or anything like that. So this is what we got, a picture of Rylee sitting on the couch in her pretty dress, which you can't even see all that well anyway. For those of you who care, there is a cute little pink flower on the front that matches her pink her bows. We had a nice quiet Easter on Sunday, but the day before we visited the Wernli's, a family in our ward. We had planned an enormous Easter egg hunt with over 10 toddlers, only to find it pouring rain outside. So our poor friends hosted a barbeque and egg hunt inside their house. It was wet, humid, but fun. Rylee had a good time, but only got around to finding one egg before she opened it and shoved all 6 jellybeans in her mouth at once. She was so psyched at this she forgot about all the other eggs she was supposed to find, so I fought off a couple of two year olds and got her a whole basket full. The next morning I woke Rylee up, she had apparently been thinking about all the candy she ate the night before, because the first thing she says to me was, "Nandy?!? UMMMM!!"

Check out my Slide Show!

Family Fun!!

Who knew Florida had any sort of farm in it? Well, I had no idea anyway. Jared, Rylee and I went to a park nearby that had pony rides and a small petting zoo in it. I'm not sure if she loved it or not, but we sure had a good time watching her. We also checked out the widely known Butterfly World. Rylee loves butterflys and points them out to me whenever she can. We had a good day of family fun and are trying to enjoy the nice winter weather before summer rolls in and cooks us on high.

Just hangin around the house

A little while ago we started hearing Rylee say the word "DADOO". She would say it over and over again. We tried and tried to figure out what "dadoo" was. We would ask her questions like, "where is Dadoo?" Finally we put it together that she would say it whenever Jared would tickle her and he was saying "Got you!" so her word for "got you" is "dadoo" this is her cracking up and saying "dadoo, dadoo!!"

beasley loves to dance!!

Rylee thinks it is hilarious!

Poor Beasley!! Every once in awhile he is subjected to one of us putting Rylee's clothes on him and making him dance. He doesn't seem to mind too much.

Isn't he pretty?

This is Rylee riding her pony she got for Christmas.

We are not as awful bloggers as you might think. It is just the simple fact that our lives are very simple and non-dramatic at this point. We haven't taken any trips, gone anywhere worthwhile, or had any birthdays, holidays or family get-togethers. So, I have posted a few pictures of us entertaining ourselves. Hopefully soon, we will have a more interesting blog for you to read.
