Goats, Kids, and Family

>

We had such a busy Mother's Day weekend! We kicked it off by welcoming our two new kids to the family- Lilo and Stitch (2 month old Pygmy goats)! Yes, this was really my Mother's Day present from Jared. I was so excited because I have been wanting some goats ever since we moved into this house with a pasture in our backyard. This picture is my entire family-minus my dad, but nonetheless every grandkid and brother and sister- Almost never happens! And I think everyone is actually looking! Oh wait- Parker is looking down, oh well. We had a wonderful barbeque on Mother's Day in our backyard with my family, Tabby and her family, and our friends BoJ and Jen Cheney. It was so nice to have everyone come and celebrate all the moms.
This is Stitch the brother goat. He likes to butt our dog Beasley when he gets too close.
And this is Lilo, the little sister goat. Isn't she adorable?

Shout out to my beautiful mom on Mother's Day! She is the sweetest, most loving, caring, unselfish person in the world and I love her more than anything. I have the greatest mom and mother-in-law ever! We are so lucky and blessed to have them in our lives. Thanks Grandma Debs (they are both named Debbie).

My awesome dad came for a visit from Colorado this weekend too! He drove his new prized possession- a brand new 5th wheel that is beautiful. We had such a good time just hanging out. I love this man so much and he just cannot get enough of all of his grandkids. Thanks dad for driving 500 miles to see us!

This is Ryker, Parker's cousin. We were on our toes wondering which one was going to grab the other's face, hair, nose, etc. first.
Love this kid! This was too cute of Rylee digging into some watermelon on the table.

This is Parker's hairdo after sleeping in his carseat- Jared picked him up and said, "Cool baby" thinking that I had deliberately combed his hair like this. We had a good laugh because it was a perfect as can be mohawk. We liked it so much we decided to comb his hair like that for church. He got lots of attention from the ladies.

Easter time!

We had such a wonderful Easter this year. Jared's sister Tabby and her son came over to go to church with us early in the morning. After church, Rylee, Parker and Ryker "found" their Easter baskets and played with their toys. Later on, my mom came over and we had a sweet ham dinner and played in the backyard. Rylee was so happy to find all of the candy in her basket and kept calling it "beautiful candy". Beasley always helps out when needed.

We had a hard time getting a decent picture of all three of them.
Rylee was holding onto Parker before she accidentally let him roll face
first onto the grass. Hmmmm....

Ryker and Parker looked so handsome on their way to church

Beasley manages to get into most of our family pictures.

Rylee's cousins Jaden and Amare came over and we had an egghunt in our backyard.
This was Rylee's first Easter where she actually got to help dye the eggs. She was really excited- so excited too, for the fact that I put a nice cup of bright colored juice right in front of her, which was really the egg dye. She took a long swig when I turned my back and said, "Mommy, that juice is nasty!"

First haircut!!

Yesterday was Parker's first haircut and I was soo scared to cut his beautiful curls. As you can probably imagine, they weren't always so beautiful and caused me some stress when trying to get out the door in a hurry. So we decided it was time. He is four months old and had a huge mullet! Anyway, we went to the salon that my mother-in-law works at and I held him on my lap while all his curls fell to the floor. He did really good until the end and he started to get a little fussy. So now he no longer looks like a baby, but a handsome little boy. He is getting so grown up! I have no idea where all this hair comes from. For some reason my babies are little monkeys when they are born.

Quick update

Well having two kids has proven it is very hard to get anything done around the house let alone update our blog. Parker is growing at an incredible rate, his hair and personality are very similar, wild and crazy. Rylee has learned to crawl out of her crib so life as we know it has come to an end. Actually it was really only hard the first couple nights but has gotten much easier now. Except for the fact that she refuses to take naps. AHHHHHHH! Very much looking forward to spring time so we can stop being hermit crabs, and get away from rock band and television. Oh and we should be moving to our new house next weekend, VERY excited for that!! Gonna go get my butt kicked in ping pong now by Jared so until we meet again, buckle up and wear sun screen.

Halloween Fun!

The night did get better, but Rylee started out as an "Angry Bee". I think she was upset about not gettting any candy right then and there. Other than this moment, Halloween was great fun! We went to a Trunk-or-Treat in our church parking lot and Rylee was so excited to see all of the funny costumes. After the Trunk-or-Treat we went over to Crestwood Retirement Home and banked about 50 candy stops in the span of 10 minutes- great for tired pregnant feet and hungry dads ready to go home. All in all, I think so far Halloween is one of Rylee's favorite holidays. She was enthralled with all things scary and absoloutely loved Frankenstein.
Isn't Rylee's cousin Ryker sweet?

Are you sitting down?!

Hopefully you are sitting down because the Adam's family is finally updating their blog!!!! After a VERY long hiatus, I finally decided to sit down and just do it. Sooo, from the last posting, a lot has happened as you may have guessed. Our family decided in June to move from Florida(where we had been living for 31/2 years) back to Utah. It took us about a month to get settled, but finally it felt like home. That's when Jared decided to go back to Florida for an extremely long job. He was gone for about 2 months and YES it was extremely hard to be without a husband, pregnant, and chasing around a very active toddler. Oh yeah, another update-I am now nine months pregnant with a little boy if you didn't know. I am due at the end of this month- Hallelujah!
Anyway, we made it without a husband and daddy with the support of all of our family and friends, and are now coasting along getting ready for baby #2. Since we have been absent from our blog for so long and have been living a lot of life in the last five months, I posted a quick slide show below to show a little of what we have been up to. I know it's not detailed, but I promise to be a much better blogger in the future! We are glad to be back!
